20,000x Faster AI Safety

PROME’s Care Core v5 vs OpenAI GPT-6 Astra

AI safety checks should be fast, consistent and affordable.

PROME’s Care Core uses mathematical rules to keep core values, such as protecting life, separate from the AI that understands language.

In our latest internal comparison, Care Core and OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra both made all 288 expected decisions correctly, across scenarios involving fake authority, coordinated pressure, tiny-risk loopholes and changing facts.

The main difference was 20,000x faster safety decisions.

Once the facts were expressed as numbers, Care Core’s median decision took 0.147 milliseconds versus Astra’s 3.04 seconds, about 20,600x less time.

Care Core also used zero LLM tokens and incurred no API charges, compared with approximately $6.48 for Astra’s 288 decisions. Local hardware and running costs were not measured.

For companies building software and robotics, this points to a practical opportunity: check already-measured situations against fixed core values locally, without waiting for another remote AI call.

Note: These results measure numeric decision checks, and did not include language understanding, real-world harm prediction or execution. This does not prove universal safety or a safety advantage over Astra.

The finding is valuable: PROME made frontier AI safety decisions, delivered much faster and without per-call API charges.
